So SiBL, you've been quiet....
....ready to get back on the horse?
....ready to get back on the horse?
So it's been awhile, and I know it's pretty hard to get back on and play, so I decided to share my own personal experience as I try to awaken old hard earned skills. I personally have been finding the time to try get 2 or 3 games in a day, but I won't kid myself, I'm rusty. Despite being rusty, I jumped into PvP and had a good few games. For the most part, I have been trying out Team Builder, which if you haven't tried yet, do so as soon as possible. It is fantastic!
I got back on the band wagon with Renekton, and I was nervous as heck. I'm serious, I was literally sweating. I haven't played PvP(nevermind Renekton) in 3 or 4 months. Maybe it was my sheer amount of experience on Ren, maybe it was my aggressive playstyle....maybe that Yasou was just awful...but we won.
Feeling bit more brave after my win, I decided to try someone new the next day.

Top Solo - Skarner
I have been wanting to try this guy... bug... thing... for some time. Again, nervous as all heck, I stepped(scuttelled? scurried?)... into top lane to face a Volibear. I didn't think I'd leave a scratch on him, but ten minutes in I had the highest CS on the map and Voli was about 30 down. I was holding my own with a champion I hadn't even played before in pvp top lane. That game I ruled top, and it took numerous ganks before they finally killed me. Unfortunately, by the time I finally died, my team was 1 kill up and about 11 deaths down. We lost that game.
The next game was a little harder facing Nasus, however their mid(Malphite) AFKd so we snowballed the game pretty hard. Also, I kinda "Double Doran'd" and you know how that breaks the in game physics.

Summing it all up
I like the top lane, I like support. The Jungler/Mid Laner has changed, I still love mid, but I don't find myself playing it. Our gameplay evolves, we play some new champs, we play some old. Developing as players is what keeps League of Legends interesting. SiBL, let's raise to the challenge once more. I know Vampress is working and studying and Darklin recently started a new job, it won't be easy to find the time I understand. None
theless, we have an Easter Weekend LAN coming up to team up and train hard. I look forward to sharing a smelly LAN room with you guys!Scarlet2friends
